With Dracula 3, it was certain settings in my Nvidia control panel that I had to fiddle to get the game going.

With ME, the fact that my sound card driver needed updating, made me unable to play the game until I updated. You know, these days with all the different software and hardware variations people have, it can be any of a whole array of things that makes a game temporarily unplayable. I'm still on Windows XP at the moment, so if you're stil on XP, that is not your problem. The game doesn't use any of those online activation DRM's, just a disc-check. Hm, I'm not sure why your demo won't start.
